LPR can be granted for up to 365 days, subject to leave available, on full pay, half pay, or partly each.

The maximum period of leave preparatory to retirement is 365 days, subject to leave being available in the account. At the civil servant's option it may be taken fully on full pay, partly on full pay and partly on half pay, or fully on half pay.
